Ah thanks, the yarn is the same as the coloured yarn I had at the workshop. It’s a cotton aran by Yarn & Colours available on lovecrafts.com in colour olive
Hi everyone, how’s your crochet going? I’ve just made myself a Jeanie crochet shopper bag in my favourite colour, green! Khaki to be specific 😍 I’ll be adding the pattern to the shop very soon, the pattern uses all the same basic stitches you learned at the workshop!
Hi Amanda, it depends which stitch you’re doing. What stitch have you used here? Also when you work in rows and turn the work in between rows there isn’t really a back or front as each row changes. This project you’ve made looks like it was worked ‘in the round’ ie without turning between rows (like you do with amigurumi / spiral crochet) and I’d say the 2nd picture is the back
How do you tell which is the right side? One side seems slightly more textured than the other, but that’s about it…(‘inside‘ and ‘outside’ attached). Any help much appreciated!
Love that green! Looks great.

It was done in the round! It was a single crochet & a double crochet in each stitch. Thanks Rachel
Here’s an example of treble stitches front and back

It sure is! Wow those stitches are really neat! That looks like the reverse side to me but I could be wrong
It’s a bit addictive isn’t it!
Second project completed! I’m not entirely sure what how you can tell the right side from the wrong side though…
Haha I tried something with subtitles last night… lost the plot about 10 mins in!!
Thank you! I confess it took a few goes. At one point it looked like this… 🙈
Huge well done to Amanda who has already made her basket! It looks fab Amanda 🤩
